Tide Pool Fountain Pen Ink

Description

Named for the colors found in the tide pools of the Washington Coast, with green anemones and purple sea stars, this is a purple and green chromashading ink. Like most chromashading inks, the effect is highly dependent on the paper on which it is used; I’ve had the best results with smooth papers like Midori and Yu Sari, while the effect is fairly subtle on art papers like Canson Bristol where the green nearly disappears, and oddly enough, it goes almost entirely green on Yamamoto’s Takasago Bank Paper.
