This is an Epitome Emerald from @epitomepens . I started making a video about it a couple of weeks ago, but unfortunately, I couldn't finish it before leaving on an extended trip tomorrow, so I thought I'd just post a couple of pictures here for now. This is an American Acrylic version of the pen, which is all sold out now, I think, but there are others.Anyway, it's absolutely gorgeous; a little smaller than I expected, but not too small. This beauty is a #delmoon VIP Eggshell, from @delmoonpen from India. Wonderfully made with a first-rate nib, for about $160 USD plus shipping. For those who follow me on YouTube, I posted a video about this pen today! Also deserving of a shoutout here is @kaagazi , who supplied the amazing notebooks that are the backgrounds for most of these photos (I love that orange leather cover under the first shot!). I'd have done a dozen videos about them by now, if they were still in operation... it was so sad to see them close up shop.

These cut glass bottles are from @mitasanshodo and are reason enough to buy the ink, but the ink is equally good: wonderfully fragrant and silky smooth to write with... and the Sumi ink has amazing bronze/gold sheen! And this one is from the #itoya in Ginza. This is in the "Edo Mouse" series of inks, and it called "Mouse Red". I've been told that the "Mouse" designation refers to dull or earthy-toned colors, dating from a period in history when commoners were not allowed to wear bright colors.
